Painted Bamboo: Large Strong Clumping Bamboo

This beautiful bamboo is extremely fast to grow and needs room.

It will reach 10-15m in Sydney depending on conditions.

Very drought and cold tolerant.  Beautiful ornamental for a larger yard or acreage.

Timber is very useful.

Allow at least 3m per plant in the ground if you are planning to keep them small.

If left to grow they will reach 10, 15n in diameter.

This is a clumping bamboo, but the distance between the culms is high, the culms are very wide and it is a massive bamboo.
